Google Chrome for iOS is a free and fast web browser, available for any mobile or desktop operating system. You can download it from iTunes on your iPhone or iPad and use the same features you receive when using it on a desktop.
Users will experience the most out of the Internet, due to Chrome’s option to translate any language from any website. Also, its Voice Speech feature is perfect when driving, because you can simply speak to your phone without typing. It is similar to Siri’s features, while it types everything you say in the web browser. Furthermore, the Incognito mode is also available for mobile devices, so users can feel safe when browsing online. You no longer have to worry about deleting the browsing history, since Incognito mode won’t store any of your files or searches.
Speaking of simplicity, Chrome has a very simple layout, hiding all buttons and menus from sight. Everything is concentrated in an Options Menu, where all settings and preferences are hidden. Asides from that users can also take benefit of Chrome’s themes, extensions and apps to design it as they please.
During these tests we tried to see if it really does what it promises and we weren’t disappointed. If you watch a video on your desktop and stop at the middle of it, you can continue watching it on your phone, as long as you have the feature activated and the tab remains open. Google’s option of picking up where you left off is a very useful tool when you don’t have time to check a website and you need to save it for later or when you’re watching an online movie and you want to continue it on your phone.
What makes Google Chrome for iOS more special is the fact that it uses half as much data as other browsers and it has a really high browsing speed. Its developers specifically designed it to run on any platform, which is why it uses up to 50% less data than Firefox or Internet Explorer. Web browsing takes less time to complete a search, while the Autofill option will help users with suggestions of their keywords. Plus, the results will auto-populate as users input the keywords, to reduce the time spent while searching.
