Microsoft has extended its note making and sharing tool OneNote to iOS platform with added functionality and better usability. They have currently launched it for free just like other popular note making software’s and can provide users the functionality of taking notes on the go. The main purpose of the tool is to provide users with the ability to write down important notes while they are on the go and then access and organize the notes from other devices.
All the notes which are created are stored on the cloud which can make sure that users get the access of the notes from any other device at anytime. There are reports that the software won’t be free of cost forever and Microsoft plans to charge some fee for the software in the future. How much will Microsoft charge is something which still remains unknown which means that if you are heavy office user then this is the best time to use this software as it’s free.
You are required to have a Windows Live ID for the purpose of using the software, which should not be a problem as you can create the ID for free. There is a settings button on the display which can open up the configuration page and make sure that you get the access to synchronization. There is not much which can be done over here as the settings page is very limited. Microsoft wants to establish very good support which is why they have introduced three buttons on the interface for Privacy, Terms of the service and Technical support. User will have to click on the Create Note button at the bottom for creating new notes. Clinking the button will bring up an old fashions but effective page which you will be using for the purpose of creating notes. Double clicking on the screen will bring the keyboards and cursor for the purpose of writing notes.
OneNote is one of the best applications for creating down lists which can be used for the purpose of understanding better. The application is very light and can work with super speed without any sorts of lag. It is really commendable the way in which they have handled checkboxes. OneNote allows you to directly put the checkbox into the note and lets you tick off one item after another. It will automatically queue up next checkbox once the user presses return button.
Best thing about the application is that it automatically synchronizes with the desktop version of the OneNote which comes mandatory with the Office 10 and can provide you all the notes on your mobile as well as on desktop.
