Pixlr is an exciting and powerful photo App that lets you exercise all your photo editing skills. It comes with a set of dynamic editing features that lets you re-create your moments and make them unforgettable. The new Pixlr for iOS by Autodesk comes with all the features that were in the Autodesk’s Pixlr Express plus new features like add an image, and create collage directly form phone.
An easy to use user interface is always exciting, and the excitement is even elevated when you launch the Pixlr app and are welcomed with a color splash screen. The home screen for Pixlr on iOS is customized for individual users. You are greeted with a blurred image that you edited last on the background. You can continue editing with a click of the ‘fresh’ button or you can save it as a final copy and continue to editing another photo.
By default, Pixlr for iOS comes with an array of radiant effects, stickers, boarders, and overlays. However, one can download extra ones, and get them to your phone in the twinkle of an eye. Downloading extra features doesn’t need to slow down your editing.
Apart from the normal cropping, rotating, and re-size, you can fix the lighting problems on your photo by a single click of the Auto Fix option, whiten teeth and remove red eye, and customize your photos with a stickers and text tool. The Autodesk iOS Pixlr version also stores some photos on Cloud for your convenience. This keeps your phone memory from being jammed.
Formerly only found in the Pixlr web version, now the iOS Pixlr version also has a collage feature. There are multiple layout options that accommodates up to 25 pictures at once, and refined controls for changing background color, controlling proportion, rounding borders, and spacing. There are also the Eraser tools and History Brush, with brushes like Doodle, Pixelate, darken and Brighten, to make your work unique.
The Pixlr for iOS also has a free version that can be downloaded from Apple App Store, and a Pro (paid) version that unlocks even more features. The best part about Pixlr for iOS is that Pro users don’t have to put up with annoying ads anymore. Signing in to Pixlr with a Pro subscription promises you of uninterrupted photo editing sessions.
